Fashion show

Following the kind donation of sports kit by Pro Star the children performed a fashion show to present their new kit! Many thanks to Mr Harries for this fantastic donation. You can also find a link to the Pro Star website!


Harvest Festival 2008

Our school celebrated harvest at Queen Margaret's School on Friday 10th October.


Sports Day 2008

The whole school enjoyed some fantastic weather throughout Sports Day.  Joshua from Year 6 led the winning blue team and delivered a great speech thanking all his team members.  Well done to everyone, great sportsmanship shown all round!

As part part of our talented PE scheme of work, Josephine, previously from Year 6, was selected to represent the District of Selby in athletics.

Year 3 / 4 linked their art work to their science topic on healthy eating by creating these fruity pictures!


Y5/6 studying musical instruments in art

We drew pencil sketches of violins and guitars and then created a 3-D musical composition using pastels and water colours.


Y6 trip to Barlow Common

Y6's enjoyed a trip to Barlow Common to cram in some last minute science revision before their SATs tests.


Year 5/6 work in the style of Bridget Riley

Year 5/6 have been studying Britain since the 1930's.  During this topic we looked at some 1960's art.  We focused on the artist Bridget Riley and then created some of our own pieces.


Year 6 Picasso portraits

Take a look at our Pablo Picasso portraits using oil pastels and pencil crayon!


Year 6's planting daffodils!

In November the Year 6's planted hundreds of daffodils in preparation for the spring.
