Tri-golf coaching 2008
At Escrick it's not only Key Stage 2 that experience after-school clubs. We are currently trying to offer extra sporting opportunities to the younger children in Key Stage 1 as well. Throughout the spring term children from Y1/2/3/4 all enjoyed a series of coaching sessions led by a professional golf instructor (further sessions are planned for the summer term when the weather improves). In the future children ffrom KS1 will also take part in 6 multi-skills sessons during curriculum time. This is aimed at improving general fitness, hand-eye co-ordination and ball skills - all very important attributes for the future stars of Escrick Primary School sports teams!
